invoice is a processing system that helps IT convert manual and paper invoices
into a more rapid and efficient digital version of data messages and record
keeping between the invoice source and the invoice recipient .
The
electronic invoice document is a measurement document with standard components ,
format , design and content that is defined and regulated by the laws and
regulations of the electronic invoice operation , and signed electronically , and
therefore becomes non-manipulable .
The Minister
of Finance Decree No. 18820 was issued to oblige companies to apply the
electronic invoicing system Decision No. 386 of 2020 was issued by the Head of
the Department of Interests , requiring 134 Senior Financiers’ Centre companies
as the first stage beginning in 518 of 2020 to compel 347 companies as the
second stage beginning in 2021/2/15. The Head of the Department issued decision
No. 85 of 2021 the rest of the Senior Financiers Centre about 2,300 as the
third stage beginning in 2021/5/15
Article 35 of
the Uniform Tax Procedure Act No. 206 of 2020 for e-financiers and bloggers or
electronic receipts has been signed electronically .
Finally , the
head of the department issued Decision No. 323 of 2022 requiring all financiers
registered with the Egyptian Tax Authority in all governorates of the Republic
to join the electronic invoicing system starting from .
